Cheap Asia Holidays

Traveling is becoming more and more expensive day by day. Hence it’s apparent that most people and their families choose to stay at home, or at most visit the locality instead of going on trips to other states and countries. However, this is unnecessary because there are places that you could visit at a relatively low cost. Detailed below are some great locations that one could choose to visit without the need to expend a great deal of their hard earned money.

The cheapest holidays could be found in Asia and that too in the subcontinent (South Asia). The main reason behind these locations being cheap is due to the weak exchange rate in those countries. Starting with India, you could visit Goa, which is known for its distinctive architecture and fine beaches. You could also visit the Taj Mahal in Agra, which is one of the seven world wonders.

Then you could visit Sri Lanka, which is known for its fine beaches, great sceneries, nature and religious ruins and monuments. You could visit the Sri Maha Bodhiya in Anuradhapura to witness the world’s oldest tree. Maldives is another country that is relatively cheaper to holiday in. Its exotic beaches draw in tourists from all parts of the world.

Bangkok, Thailand and other countries like Taiwan and Korea are also worth visiting, if you are in Asia. You would be able to witness some great Buddhist monuments and temples. Bangkok is a shopper’s paradise and you would be able to shop anything for a very low price. If possible, fly to Mauritius because it has some great exotic beaches.

Moving away from Asia towards the Mediterranean, Spain’s Balearic Islands is a cheap destination worth visiting. You could visit Mallorca, Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza, and visit the art galleries, museums and ruins. You could also spend the day at the fine beaches of the Balearic Islands.

Then you could visit the Madeira Islands of Portugal and enjoy the coastline and their fortified wine “Madeira”. You could also visit Algarve, the historical province of southern Portugal. Then you could head towards Greece and the Ionian Islands, which is an island group off the west coast of Greece. Corfu, Zante and Cythera are the locations that you could visit for cheap and you could enjoy its architecture and natural surroundings.

Then for more cheap destination holidays, you could visit Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands and enjoy its beach resort facilities. Don’t forget to taste their wines because they taste really great.

Other cheap locations include Mexico, Jamaica, Antigua, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Gambia, and Egypt. Places to visit while you are in these places are immense, so make sure you plan which places to visit before you leave.

Well, at home (i.e. in the US), it is believed that (some parts of the state of) Florida provides for cheaper holidays. However, if you want to visit other areas for cheap, visiting them during the off-seasons would prove useful.

The above are some great locations that would suit one’s budget. If you love to travel, do not stay at home during your holidays because you could explore the world cultures, architecture, nature, etc. for a very affordable amount. So plan your cheap holiday right away to experience and explore the greatest (economical) places on earth.
